We visited Paul with his Afea Plan Manager, Logi, for a chat about his experience. Watch below:
“I have been Paul’s Plan Manager for about two years now,” Logi explains.
As plan manager, Logi receives invoices from Paul’s service providers, verifies them, claims funds from the NDIA and pays his providers within two to three business days.
When asked about the purchases they’ve worked on together, both Paul and Logi light up and point to the huge whiteboard on the wall.
The whiteboard is marked with the days of the week, with Paul’s neat notes showing his daily tasks and appointments. “We organised to buy this clear whiteboard so I can use it for organising the day to day tasks,” Paul shares.
Paul has “everything written down,” says Logi. She uses his feedback to verify his invoices and speaks to his providers on his behalf to sort out issues or discrepancies.
“By having someone like Logi, who’s very helpful and friendly, I can focus on other things on my plan and on the day,” Paul says.
