I saw that the mission that Afea had resonated well with my core values. I gained more perspective of what the company does.

I’m by profession a chemist. I started my work in manufacturing of medical devices. Then I moved on to clinical trials. So both of these industries are very highly regulated. The work that you put into there, it takes years, decades before the product can even come to the market. That’s a long time! But in the NDIS, I can directly provide support that impacts the individual on Day 1.

Leveraging technology for quality care

Afea really leverage technology to facilitate innovations, and this is what I really like about Afea.

Change is hard, but if we can leverage technology to deliver our care, that would be a good innovation. Part of my responsibility is to ensure that we can manage that technology so we can produce a good quality outcome from that.

Capturing nature as a photographer

I really make conscious decisions when it comes to the planet. In terms of the environment, I’m a big “green warrior”.

I do love photography, I take some landscape photography so I can be out there in nature. It’s rejuvenating, and again, yeah, it’s tied to the environment, right. To be able to capture that moment is also a privilege.
