Life in Oxley Park - Afea Care Services
May 4th 2023

Learn more about our residents, Marco and Tristan

Our Supported Independent Living clients Marco and Tristan live in Oxley Park, where they enjoy 24/7 support from our carers.

Marco has been living at Oxley Park SIL for three years, while Tristan moved in last year. Supported independent living through their NDIS funding gives them the opportunity to pursue their own passions while living in a supportive home environment: Marco loves playing the guitar and going on long walks, while Tristan attends a day program and learns how to bake.

They sat down with us to chat about recently going vegan (Marco) and watching the Met Gala (Tristan).

They also answered some rapid fire questions, such as:

  • If you could have a pet, what would it be?
  • If you could have a superpower, what would you choose?
  • What language would you like to learn?
  • Dream travel destination?
  • Favourite holiday?

Find out their answers in our interview below:

Oxley Park Supported Independent Living
Enjoy your independence and compassionate support at Oxley Park

Are you ready to take a step closer to independence?

Our homes in Oxley Park are made up of three townhouses with private backyards and open plan living spaces. Unit 3 has vacancies available (as of May 2023) for male NDIS participants hoping to increase their independence with the compassionate support of Afea Carers.

As a central, homely suburb located between Mount Druitt and St Marys, Oxley Park is a great place to call home.

The suburb is accessible by bus, has its own set of quaint shops and is near St Marys train station, big shopping centres and green spaces.

Afea has other Supported Independent Living homes across Western Sydney. Find out where they are and our current vacancies.
