Afea joins icare's panel of providers - Afea Care Services
June 13th 2023

We’re excited to share that we have been appointed as part of Insurance and Care NSW (icare)’s panel of attendant care providers in New South Wales.

Following a robust evaluation, Afea was awarded a tender contract that enables us to provide care services to individuals eligible for icare’s Lifetime Schemes, including Lifetime Care.

icare provides workers compensation insurance and care services to more than 329,000 public and private sector employers in NSW and their 3.2 million employees.

“Afea is extremely excited to be a part of icare’s panel of attendant care providers,” Afea CEO Gaurav Oberoi said.

“We welcome this opportunity and are privileged to extend our expertise and caring approach to NSW residents that receive funded supports under icare.”

Support workers from Afea can assist icare participants with daily activities

Attendant care services through icare’s Lifetime Care and the Workers Care Program are delivered by support workers.

They can assist with day-to-day activities that are difficult for icare participants to manage because of their injury. This can include personal care, managing medication, home rehabilitation programs and getting involved in community activities. Find out more.
