We were thrilled to welcome Roby Sharon-Zipser, CEO, Co-Founder, and Executive Director of hipages Group, to our Parramatta headquarters for a Fireside Chat.
While we connect clients with carers, hipages connects people with trusted tradies to build better lives for everyone. Hipages is now Australia’s largest online tradie marketplace.
Roby sat with our founder, Esha Oberoi, to discuss how he stays motivated when faced with obstacles in business and in life.
“One of the biggest learnings from my uni days was the importance of discipline,” Roby shares.
“I was above average at maths but I had a strong desire to excel in it. So I developed systems and processes – writing notes, memorise the notes, practice exams, analyse my practice – to eventually becoming a top performer. As important as the systems were, they’re only as good as your resolve to follow through – I did a lot of practice exams, and got really good at maths, and I’ve carried this lesson on practice and discipline through my life and career.”
