Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to join our amazing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and managing Supported Independent Living and Supported Disability Accommodation sites across South-West Sydney and into the Macarthur region of NSW, this newly created role will be responsible for the overseeing the operations of each accommodation site, some of which include residents with very complex (robust) psychological support needs.  

In this role, you will find yourself:   

  • Managing NDIS accommodation applicants and engaging with residents, their families and supports to connect them with accommodation options and services.   
  • Managing the end-to-end onboarding and welcoming of new residents.   
  • Participating in the activation of new accommodation sites.  
  • Managing NDIS budgets, support plans and ensuring services are positioned in accordance with the participants NDIS plan and care needs.  
  • Providing coaching, guidance and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers. 
  • Ensuring services are delivered with accordance to best practice and high quality standards.  

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following:  

  • Qualifications in Health, Disability, Aged or Community Care.  
  • Previous experience in accommodation management or related roles.  
  • Previous experience managing clients/residents with complex psychological support needs.  
  • Understanding of the NDIS, especially accommodation services.  
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills. 
  • A friendly a warm persona, with a high degree of patience and resilience.   
  • Current and valid Driver’s Licence is essential, as frequent road-based travel is required.
