Afea Care Services has been providing home care services for more than a decade. We became stronger through the recent reforms in the industry by adopting better policies and processes which have allowed us to assist even more families. The purpose of our journey of growth is to be the most trusted provider and to offer a more holistic approach to our supports. Which is why we are very excited to announce a number of new services we’ll be offering to our clients in 2019 – Supported Independent Living, Support Coordination and Plan Management!
Our Supported Independent Living is rolling out in Oxley Park, where we have three townhouses with a total of ten bedrooms that will house NDIS participants. The final touches are being made to the properties that will make these houses a home for the residents. Oxley Park is a central suburb in between St Marys and Mount Druitt and has easily accessible shops and public transport.
We can’t wait to empower our residents to live independently in their new home and can provide additional help with 24-hour care, cleaning and laundry, personal care, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, connecting with loved ones and more. We are now interviewing for this beautiful property:
On top of this, we are currently recruiting the best Support Coordinators we can find to assist participants in developing knowledge, experience and connections with the community and within the NDIS system.
Finally, we will be adding Plan Management to our list of services we provide, meaning we will help participants stay on top of their funding.
