Accommodation Manager

Location: Blacktown | NSW

Founded in 2008, Afea Care Services is a registered provider of disability and aged care services, with support hubs located in Parramatta and Liverpool. We have a team of 1,000+ carers providing in-home and community support across the Sydney metro area and parts of regional NSW to more than 1,400 families every week. We also provide safe housing in our Supported Independent Living homes in western Sydney, as well as Plan Management and Support Coordination services to NDIS participants across Australia.

What will you be doing in this amazing role?

  • Manage NDIS housing applicants and engaging with participants, their families and supporters to connect them with Afea housing facilities
  • Match NDIS participants with the most suitable housing options based on participant type, care support needs and services required
  • Provide coaching and guidance to our carers
  • Ensure staffing arrangements are in place and services delivered at our homes are aligned to Afea Quality standards
  • Manage client NDIS budgets, support plans and making sure processes are in place according to NDIS

What are you going to bring along with you?

  • Operational management skills and knowledge about Disability and NDIS
  • Prior experience in housing management within the NDIS or Community Housing
  • Outstanding written communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Current and valid Driver Licence is a must
